Blue Ocean Star Expands Offshore Services with Newbuild AHTS and ASD Tug Availability

Blue Ocean Star Cargo Services is pleased to announce the upcoming availability of two modern newbuild offshore support vessels, further strengthening our offshore services and vessel chartering capabilities.

The fleet additions include:

Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (AHTS)

A versatile offshore support vessel designed for anchor handling, towing operations, offshore logistics support, field support activities, and project-related marine services.

Azimuth Stern Drive (ASD) Tug

A modern ASD tug suitable for harbour operations, terminal support, escort duties, towing services, offshore projects, and marine assistance operations.

Both vessels are currently in the final stages of construction, commissioning, and certification. Sea trials and class surveys are progressing according to schedule, with availability expected during the second half of 2026.

As part of our growing Offshore Services Division, Blue Ocean Star is actively engaging with charterers, operators, EPC contractors, oil & gas companies, and marine service providers across the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and West Africa.
